The buyer supplies vehicle year/make/model, engine or chassis codes, installed position, OE reference for identification only, piston count and diameter, bracket hole pitch, parking-brake mechanism and disc interface. Drawings can follow later; this form does not add an upload field. Quantity is recorded as pieces, pairs or kits, not mixed packing units.

Ask the brake caliper supplier whether the offer is new or remanufactured, whether a core charge applies, and which sample option is available. Request mounting dimensions in millimetres, left/right orientation, hydraulic connection details and a contents list for pads or hardware. Certificates, if any, must name the supplier, part and application; they are not inherited by this website.

Separate unit cost, packing, freight, taxes, service costs and sample charges before ranking replies. A loaded body and a bare casting are different commercial objects. Target budget (currency and per-unit or total-order basis) and high-end / mid-range / budget preference describe the buyer’s trade-off; they are not audited supplier ratings and do not require an existing competing quote.

Record the approved sample identifier, unresolved fitment questions, Incoterms, destination ZIP and each party’s delivery responsibility. Sample acceptance does not automatically qualify later batches; agree inspection points and exception handling before releasing a production lot.
