Vehicle and engine

Record model year, make, model and engine code, plus chassis identifiers when the caliper is axle-specific. Appearance or connector similarity is not interchange. Leave unresolved fitment marked as open rather than assuming a universal rear brake caliper.

Position and interface

Confirm front/rear, left/right, mounting dimensions, bleeder/hose orientation and disc thickness range. Piston count alone does not approve a substitution. Ask the supplier which drawing or vehicle application selected the quoted body.

Quantity and packing

State pieces, axle pairs or kits and list included brackets, guide pins, boots and hardware. Bare-body and bracket-inclusive packs cannot share one unit price. Mention core-charge handling if a remanufactured supply condition is requested.

Destination and timing

Provide destination ZIP, Incoterms preference if already chosen, and the requested delivery window. Freight, taxes and service costs stay outside any unit figure until the quotation lists them. Timing is a request, not a committed factory slot.
